Artist and Teacher

Camille,
originally from Windsor, Ontario, Canada now lives in Etobicoke
(Toronto) with Roger – her husband and business partner. She studied at
McMaster University, the University of Western Ontario, London Teachers
College and the Ontario College of Education. On graduation, an
extensive teaching career spanned grades 5 to 13 – including adult
education groups.
In addition to the medium of
porcelain/china – in which she has earned the designation of Certified
Master Artist and Master Teacher, Camille also enjoys working in
watercolor, acrylics, collage, mixed media and print making.
In order to enhance her artistic
talents, she continues to study with internationally recognized
instructors in each medium. She travels extensively to both study in and
conduct workshops.
Camille is affiliated with and has
served in leadership positions in several art associations. She is
currently a member of: Professional Porcelain Artists Association, World
Organization of China Painting Teachers, Colour & Form Society*,
Central Ontario Art Association, Elora Centre for the Arts, Dunedin Fine
Art Center, Neilson Park Creative Centre, Humber Valley Art Club and the
Etobicoke Art Group.
As a participant in many juried,
invitational group and solo shows internationally, she has won many
awards - including several Best of Show. Her art techniques have been
published in art magazines in Australia, Canada, England, Finland,
Italy, Norway, Switzerland and the United States.
Camille has also had the honor of jurying art shows - and has exhibited, taught and demonstrated in
Canada, Italy, Norway, Switzerland and the United States.
